Metallica released a new version of "Nothing Else Matters" made for the Disney movie Jungle Cruise the 30th, in North American theaters and on the Disney+ streaming service.

"It was an honor to work with the renowned and legendary composer James Newton Howard as we reimagined the music with a new arrangement and created an interpretation that we believe is suitable for a journey through the Amazon," the band stated when announcing the version.

Jungle Cruise stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, who take the fan-favorite ride and transform it into a theatrical adventure. “Not only are we huge Disney fans, but we couldn’t pass up the chance to work with Howard, an eight-time Oscar nominee who is recognized for films like The Fugitive , Michael Clayton , and The Village ,” added the Metallica statement.

Last year, drummer Lars Ulrich commented in an interview with Collider that Sean Bailey , president of production at Disney, is a "longtime Metallica fan, as well as one of the friendliest and most generous guys you'll find in the music industry."
